The St. Aengus Community Action Group mission statement for training and education is very clear:
To provide and deliver a quality education, training and work preparation service that will at all times be focused on the participant's requirements.
To empower the participants by education and retraining, to develop their own skills and talents.
To promote the benefits of a drugs free lifestyle and to encourage the participants to achieve this goal.
To support the participants in re-entry to the workforce, or to further education/training.
Trainees are supported and mentored through the process of gaining the skills, training and accreditation necessary to advance existing career prospects or in creating a new career.
The ethos of St. Aengus is holistic, centering on the individual and their welfare, providing personal development alongside professional development opportunities.
